This is meant to push participants to go outside and get some vitamin D and sun, both vital to a human’s mental and physical health. There are no specifics on what the workout has to be except that one of them has to be outside. The second rule is that you must do 2 45-minute workouts a day. Some people choose to go vegan or vegetarian, give up red meat, practice keto, or only eat whole foods. The diet can be any diet of the participant’s choice but it has to be set and structured. The first rule of this program is to follow a diet. The program is meant to take control of your life in 75 days and forces its participants to switch up their daily routines with just 6 very hard rules, every day, from the moment they wake up, to the minute that they fall asleep.

Im not returning it, its just about worth a credit, but really is all rather silly tbh.In March 2019, Andy Frisella had announced on a podcast that he would be starting a new program that would test the mental toughness of the people that participate. then the denouement is rushed, also contrived, and very far fetched indeed. the circumstances that keep the main character at the house are contrived indeed, and it bothered me that she never got around to doing any of the ghost writing she had been employed to do as she was too busy spying on the wife, and chasing the husbands tail. there is no intrigue around the husband which is a massive missed opportunity to write a ‘is he good or bad’ character, and the children and nurses have no personalities at all. except lots of sex, and lots of descriptions of sex. unfortunately not much happens thereafter. Whilst there she finds a manuscript ostensibly written by the catatonic writer. A ghost writer (who happens to be young and beautiful, of course she is, there are no ugly heroines in storyland) gets a commission to finish work by a catatonic writer, whose husband is also young and beautiful.

This story sets up an intriguing storyline. I don’t care for the narrator of Verity, but she was a lot less annoying in this one than some of her others. Just don’t get your hopes too high for some huge BELIEVABLE plot twist. I would still recommend the book however as I said it did keep my attention which is hard. I guess if you don’t normally listen to suspense you’ll probably be satisfied with it, but being that I like dark and suspenseful I was left wanting. When the story has you drawn in from the beginning you expect to be wowed by the ending. And I’m sure that was the authors intention, but I didn’t care for that approach. Like really? It could have been great, instead it was like, huh? Ok. However, I was very unsatisfied with the ending. If you would have asked me to rate it anytime before the last hour I would have given it 5 ⭐️. I loved the whole book up, and didn’t want to stop listening. After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue to love her.ĭue to graphic scenes and mature content, this book is recommended for listeners 18+. But as Lowen's feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife's words. Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents would devastate the already grieving father. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of the night their family was forever altered. What Lowen doesn't expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity's notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started.
